Fly there yourself
If you copy the GE co-ordinates given and paste them into the top-left bar on Google Earth and click Search, GE will fly you right there to see for yourself (the date of GE image-capture may result in variation of details).

You get a bird's-eye view of the landscape—like the Himalayan Griffon (pictured at left), which can soar in 'blue thermals' above Everest, using its massive 2.5-metre wingspan. The griffon's vision is probably 20 times sharper than human.
